The extension comprises classrooms, science rooms, demonstration room, home economics and arts rooms and other specialist rooms. There is also a Library, resource rooms, kitchenette, staff room and smaller facilities. The new entrance lobby is also located in the extension.

The re-modelling consisted of the extension of the existing Gymnasium by conversion of the toilets and other accommodation. The extension to the Gym comprises the changing rooms and toilets and the viewing gallery which doubles up as a work out area.

The design work consisted of laying out the works to include for rented prefab classrooms to enable the school to function during the construction period.

Completed in August 2007 for use by the school for the school year commencing in September 2007.
